This creamy tofu spread is perfect for whipping up a quick afternoon snack. It literally takes under 2 minutes to make, and you can keep it in the fridge for 5 days. It’s so good to have on hand! The combo of crunchy sourdough, creamy spread, sweet balsamic and juicy roasted tomato is so dreamy.

Tofu Cream Cheese Spread

A creamy tofu spread perfect for a quick snack. Paired with sourdough, balsamic glaze, and roasted tomato.

Ingredients

  • 140 g extra firm tofu
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp nutritional yeast
  • ½ tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • tsp fine salt
  • 3 tbsp soy milk

Instructions

  • Add all the ingredients to a blender and blend until achieving a smooth consistency. If needed, add more milk in ½ tablespoon increments to facilitate blending.
  • For a delightful toast: Grill a slice of sourdough bread and gently rub a garlic clove over it. Generously spread the tofu cream cheese, and top with roasted tomatoes. Finish with a drizzle of balsamic glaze, a sprinkle of salt, and fresh basil leaves.

  1. just found this and can’t wait ti try. One question: How long will it keep in the freezer? or Refrigerator? two questions I guess.

    1. Hi Kent, I do not recommend freezing this one, but it will last for 5 days in the fridge, hope you love it 😊
