Food has been at the centre of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up in a small town in the South of France, immersed in the Mediterranean traditions of my father and Italian grandmother. Weekends were spent rolling out fresh pasta by hand, gathering around long family lunches, and learning that the best meals are really about bringing people together.
My father was an incredible cook. He and my family owned a small restaurant, and I have fond memories of him in the kitchen feeding hundreds of happy customers. My grandmother taught me that food was as much about joy and connection as it was about nourishment. I spent countless hours with them, and I credit those years with developing everything I love about cooking today.
From Provence to Sydney
I first studied law at university in Aix-en-Provence, but a trip through Southeast Asia and Bali shifted my perspective entirely. A last-minute decision to follow a friend to Australia before heading home to France changed the course of my life. I met my Aussie partner Cam, and I never made it back.
In 2017, after the sudden loss of my father to cancer and being confronted by my family’s history of health challenges, I decided to take control of my own health. I began studying nutrition with a focus on practical, science-backed solutions, hoping to help others avoid the same fate for themselves and their loved ones.

Our Plant-Based Journey
When I met Cam, I had already been a vegetarian for two years. He was a meat-eater, but he and his family were incredibly open and supportive. Cam has always been interested in health and longevity, and when we came across the science behind whole food plant-based diets and their positive impact on our health, animal welfare, and the planet, it just clicked for both of us that this was something we had to do.
While completing my nutrition studies, I worked in restaurants from small cafes to fine dining. I went on to manage a world-renowned plant-based restaurant in Bondi, founded by nutrition scientist and podcaster Simon Hill. That experience taught me what people genuinely want to eat and how to make plant-based dishes irresistible, even to skeptics.
Bridging the Gap
After qualifying as a nutritionist, I worked in a clinic advising clients and witnessed firsthand the everyday struggles people face when trying to eat well. I had the science, but I couldn’t find recipes I could confidently recommend. Meals that met evidence-based nutrition guidelines and still made people genuinely want to eat them.
So I started typing up my own recipes at home. Encouraged by glowing feedback from clients and Cam’s nudging, I began posting them online. That’s when we realized we could help far more people through plantbaes than through one-on-one sessions alone.
My Mission
Today, I create practical, nutritionally balanced recipes that taste so good people think, “I can actually do this, and I won’t be missing out.” Every recipe is high in protein and fiber, made from whole foods and familiar ingredients, and designed to support your health for years to come.
My personal battle with endometriosis has deepened my understanding of how diet and lifestyle can help manage chronic conditions. It’s guided me toward meal prepping and quick, anti-inflammatory recipes for those days when energy is low but nutrition still matters.
Whether you’re fully plant-based or simply looking to eat more plants, you’re welcome here. Any step in this direction is a step worth celebrating.
