Easy & Delish Homemade Bruschetta on a plate

Bruschetta is one of those super easy recipes that you will make on repeat once you’ve learnt how. It’s fresh, crunchy and a great way to start a meal with friends. We’ve been having them on repeat since we have been in France (the tomatoes are just way too beautiful here). I also love to add some toasted pine nuts – you should definitely try it!

Easy and quick Bruschetta recipe with ripe tomatoes, toasted pine nuts, and fresh basil. Perfect for a meal with friends.

Ingredients

  • ½ baguette or your favorite bread
  • 1 garlic cloves
  • 200 g tomatoes
  • 2 tbsp toasted pine nuts
  • 1 handful fresh basil
  • ¼ cup (59.15 ml) olive oil
  • 1 dash sea salt flakes

Instructions

  • Slice the baguette or your favorite bread and grill it until it’s crispy.
  • Take a garlic clove and rub it on the grilled bread for added flavor.
  • Chop the ripe tomatoes into small pieces. Add them to a bowl along with the fresh basil leaves.
  • Cover the tomato and basil mixture with extra virgin olive oil.
  • Top the grilled bread with the tomato mixture. Sprinkle toasted pine nuts and a dash of salt on top. Enjoy your homemade Bruschetta.

  1. This was delicious! I’ll be maknig it again. It’s also a great way to use up some slightly wrinkled cherry tomatoes, I threw it in the food processor instead of hand chopping but look forwarding to trying it chopped your way when I’m less lazy.5 stars
