This healthy paste is creamy, chocolatey, and has the wonderful flavour of roasted hazelnuts. It’s super easy to make and goes so well on toast with banana, french crΓͺpes (recipe coming next!), pancakes, banana bread or even on your morning oats.

Healthy Nutella
A creamy, chocolatey paste with the delightful flavor of roasted hazelnuts. Perfect on toast, pancakes, banana bread, or morning oats.

- 150 g raw hazelnuts
- 2 tbsp raw cacao powder
- 1 tbsp maple syrup - more if you like it sweeter
- β cup (78.86 ml) soy milk
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 180C (350F).
- Roast the hazelnuts in the preheated oven for 15 minutes until they are lightly browned and aromatic.
- Place the roasted hazelnuts into a cloth and rub them for a couple of minutes to remove most of the skins.
- Reserve a few hazelnuts for garnish, then place the rest of the ingredients into your blender. Blend until smooth, adding more milk if necessary depending on the strength of your blender.
- Crush the reserved hazelnuts and stir them into the paste for added texture.
- Enjoy your homemade Healthy Nutella on toast, pancakes, banana bread, or even in your morning oats.
