This is the perfect brekky for those days when you are on the go. You get your whole grains, omega-3s and caffeine all in one, and it’s perfect to take away. Plus, it tastes absolutely delicious and takes literally 2 minutes to make. These mocha overnight oats are such an amazing way to start the day ????

If caffeine doesn’t agree with you, but you love the taste of coffee, you can use a decaf shot instead ????

A quick and nutritious breakfast option, these Mocha Overnight Oats combine whole grains, omega-3s, and caffeine for a perfect on-the-go meal.

Ingredients

  • â…” cup (54 g) oats
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1 tbsp cacao nibs
  • 1 tbsp cacao powder
  • ¼ cup (59.25 g) coffee (or decaf)
  • â…“ cup (78.86 ml) soy milk
  • 1 tbsp soy yogurt
  • ½ tbsp (0.5 tbsp) maple syrup (or more to taste)
  • Melted dark chocolate to pour on top (optional)

Instructions

  • Combine the oats, chia seeds, cacao powder, and cacao nibs in a bowl.
  • Add the coffee, soy milk, soy yogurt, and maple syrup to the bowl.
  • Stir the mixture well until all the ingredients are thoroughly combined.
  • If desired, top the mixture with melted dark chocolate.
  • Refrigerate the mixture for at least 2 hours, or leave it overnight for best results.
